History

Stewartstown Summer Theatre has been in existence since the summer of 1980. From its beginnings, it has grown into a highly successful regional youth community theater for youth ages 12-19. Summer Theatre is an outreach ministry of the Stewartstown United Methodist Church. It has produced such shows as Happy Days, Children of Eden, The Music Man, Once Upon a Mattress, Shrek: The Musical, The Wizard of Oz and Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat. Through the years, over 3,500 youth have been involved in cast and crew.
